¿Qué Pasa en Quepos? – February 2024

Bienvenido… Welcome to an Amazing 2024 and what better place to keep it going than here in paradise. January was an outstanding month to kick off the new year and we are guaranteeing February to be the same.

We got Fuego’s Eco-Beer Fest and PAWS Battle of the Bands for a great time and a great cause

Marina Pez Vela has many exciting events planned for this month. After Kicking off our Sport fishing season in January with The Pelagic Rockstar, with payouts over $1.3 million, MPV has no plans on slowing down. The Rooster Rodeo (February 3 ) is a one-day catch and release event for anglers of all skill levels which focuses on our spectacular inshore fishing. MPV will also be hosting the now Famous Pescadora Fishing Tournament with the top women from around the world competing for the title of Champion Female Angler, truly a first class event that should not be missed. (February 15 – 17 )

Movie Nights Under the Stars happens every every Wednesday night at sunset and are a great time for the entire family to enjoy an incredible sunset, restaurant specials, and a feature film under the stars on the largest outdoor movie screen in Costa Rica.

Speaking of the largest screen in Costa Rica, for all you sports fans Super-Bowl is February 11. MPV is hosting their annual Super Bowl Bash in Quepos. If you’re on the mountain and want to watch the game then Quepoa Sports Bar and Yolo are the places to be to catch all the action.

February is also the month of Love. So don’t forget and make sure to make your dinner reservations at on of our many fine restaurants—Aqua Azul, Ronnie’s Place, and Mira Olas—to mention a few. Book your massages early with Day Spa or Massage Todd you will be glad you did.
